Mary graduated from Indiana University in 2005 and has worked at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown for three years. She was an event manager from 2005 to November 2009 when she moved into the sales office as a Cluster Sales Manager. Robert Stachnik – Senior Account Executive
Robert graduated in 1991 from Florida International University in Miami with a B.S. degree in Business Hospitality. He started his career in hotel opts with Hyatt Hotels in Sarasota, Orlando and Indianapolis. In 1997 he moved into corporate sales at the Indianapolis Hyatt Regency before moving to Chicago. There he was the Director of Sales at the Hyatt from 2002 to 2008 when he moved back to Indianapolis to join the Marriott Team as a Senior Account Executive. Amy Grayson – Senior Account Executive
Amy graduated from Mount Union College in 2000 and has worked at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown for three years. She started her career at Loews Ventana Canon Resort in Tucson as a conference services assistant. She was promoted several times while in Tucson including Catering Coordinator, F&B manager and then Sales Manager. Amy moved to Indianapolis to open the Conrad in March of 2005 as Senior Sales Manager and was then promoted to Assistant Director of Sales. She moved to the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown in 2007 as a Senior Sales Manager and was promoted to Senior Account Executive in March of 2009. Susan Ogle – Senior Sales Manager
Susan began her hospitality career as Event Assistant at the Downtown Bloomington Commission after graduating from Hanover College in 2000. In 2001, she moved to Louisville, KY where she spent five years at the Executive West Hotel serving as first a Catering Manager for two years and then as Sales Manager for three years. In 2006, Susan ventured to Asheville, NC to join the Asheville CVB as Destination Guru, working with the Southeast market. In 2008, Susan came back to Indiana where she worked with the Embassy Suites Indianapolis Downtown for two years. In January 2010, Susan joined the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown as Senior Sales Manager where she currently works with Indiana Associations, Education, Government and Sports markets. Jennifer Stone-Buck – Director of Indianapolis Marriott Sales Center
Jennifer graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelors Degree in Art & Design and Hospitality Tourism Management. She started her career at the IMD in 2002 as a Banquets Intern and moved to Event Management in 2003 as an Event Management Assistant. She was promoted to Event Manager before moving to the Sales office in 2005 as a Cluster Sales Manager. Katie Ferreira – Director of Catering
Katie graduated from Johnson and Wales University in 2001 with an A.A.S degree in culinary arts. She started her career at the Westin Diplomat in Hollywood, Florida before moving to the Westin Indianapolis as a Senior Catering Manager. Janice Zoeller – Director of Sales and Marketing
Janice graduated from the University of Louisville with a communication degree and began her sales career in advertising for a local paper in Louisville, KY. She went on to spend five years in Arizona, working for the Golf Villas at Oro Valley and Loews Ventana Canyon Resort and then moved back to Louisville where she worked as a sales manager at the Convention and Visitors Bureau. After four years at the Louisville Marriott Downtown she accepted a promotion to join the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown and the Director of Sales in 2007. Alissa Bush – Sr. Sales Manager
Alissa graduated from University of Kentucky in 2001 with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing. While in school, she gained experience working at the Marriott Griffin Gate in Lexington, KY and Green Brier Resort in West Virginia. She began her post-college career in 2001 at the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis as a sales assistant an then served as EBC Sales Manager from 2002 to 2004. She was promoted in 2004 to Sales Manager and again in 2007 to Sr. Sales Manager. In August 2010 she moved over to the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown as a Sr. Sales Manager. Abby Chittenden – Catering Sales Manager
Abby graduated from Purdue University in 2006 with a Bachelors degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. She started her career as an Event Coordinator at the Ritz Charles planning weddings and other special events. Abby then accepted a position as a Catering Sales Manager at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown in 2010. Melissa Weseli – Senior Sales Manager
Melissa received her undergraduate degree in 2004 from the University of Dayton, where she remained until 2006 to complete a Master of Business Administration. At the beginning of 2007 she entered the hospitality industry as a Front Office Supervisor at the Omni Severin Hotel in downtown Indianapolis. She then moved departments that same year to begin her sales career. After starting as a Sales Coordinator, she was promoted in 2008 and performed as a Group Sales Manager. Again, in 2009, she was promoted to Business Travel Sales Manager where she oversaw the business travel, government transient, and consortia markets. Melissa joined the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown team as a Senior Sales Manager at the end of 2010. Susan began her Hospitality career in 2001 with Wyndham International where she spent her time as a Sales Assistant. In 2006 she became the Corporate Sales Manager for the Fishers Hospitality Center. Michael Grabowski
Purdue University in Indianapolis. Mike began his hospitality career at Conseco Inc. in 2001. He was promoted to Program Coordinator in 2003. As Program Coordinator, he managed and organized all meetings in the conference center, served as ticket coordinator for all employees and planned events for Conseco Inc. In 2007, Mike took a position at the Sheraton Indianapolis Hotel and Suites as a Convention Services Manager. He was promoted to Sales Manager in 2008, where his markets included Government, Religious, Small Corporate, and One-Call. Catherine received her undergraduate degree in Tourism, Convention and Event Management in August 2010 from Indiana University - Indianapolis. Anne graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2009 with a double degree in Business (Marketing with an emphasis in Advance Professional Sales) and Textiles, Apparel, and Merchandising.
